A few days ago I found a small piece of paper in the mail that let me know I missed a package shipped via USPS.

I lost the paper.

Can I just walk in and have them search by name or address or something? What's the best way to handle this? (I would like to avoid waiting in line for 20 minutes at the post office for nothing, if possible)

pretty sure they have your name + address listed. just bring your ID and you should be ok! Call them in advance and make sure you just dont go to the wrong one.

yeah you can get your package, just bring some ID with your address on it.

I'd call first and make sure they hold it at the distribution facility, sometimes it might be on a truck for redelivery and if they don't know you want it held they'll keep trying to redeliver.

Just walk into the local USPS and say, "I'm Bond..... James Bond..."

I'm sure that'll be enough for them to grab your package.
