I would find it an interesting post on how you did that. I find most of the low end computers I find don't have much ability in the way of overclocking. Maybe its my newbish knowledge. You spent 20+ hours trying to overclock a Pentium 1 from 200 to 225 to increase your WU.
That is a good thing from my perspective, but I live in a colder climate.Your DC farm is used to heat a room. Or two.
1. I was referring to filling my Q's if Berkeley announced they'd be down for a day or two.
2. You're right, those old things suck hind, um mammary gland. That's why it's ridiculous and indicative of addiction. It was a DIY build though, not a Dell or GW-that's why I had access to the FSB via jumpers.
3. Once again, you're identifying with the point but missing the sarcasm. I live in WI, it tends to get a little cold here for 10 month season called winter than breaks up the other season-road construction. With all my DC rigs in my basement (unfinished) I noted that it was much warmer from all the exhaust heat from the cases. I was serious about that benefit-in the summer it won't matter due to the basement alway staying cool. But bet your rear end that next winter I'll again have all the cases turned so that the power supply fans are blowing warm air on my legs!
