You like the new Canadian $5 bill?

I think it looks nice.🙂

<< It also carries an excerpt from The Hockey Sweater, the Roch Carrier book that recounts the crushing disappointment of a boy in small-town Quebec after Eaton's mistakenly sends him a jersey of the despised Toronto Maple Leafs instead of the Montreal Canadiens. >>

I find that text on a bill kinda odd. It seems like it would accent the division (I can't think of a better word) between Montreal and TDOT. Also...

<< "A well-informed public is an absolute must to reduce counterfeiting," >>

Who would counterfeit Canadian money?? C'mon everyone knows it's nearly worthless.😉 J/K

<< I think I'll provide the first valid response of this thread by saying that yes, I do like the new $5 bill. 🙂 >>

Admittedly, the guy does look a lot like Ian MacDirmond(sp?). Don't you think?

That owuld be...I believe, McDiarmid. 😛

I like them both. I've always thought that Canada has pretty cool looking money; not worth much, but cool looking, anyway.

That would be...I believe, "would" 😉

But see?!?! The Sith Lord is alive and well in Canada!

I don't know. It looks nice, and im sure that the new stuff for visually impaired people is better. It just seems to me that having kids playing hockey and sledding isn't a good thing to pur on your currency. Thats like the US putting an assault rifle and a baseball player on the US currency.

(Clicks print button a couple thousand times)

I'm going ot become a millionair😀..

...but wait...it only translates to a couple of bucks american :|

The guy on both the old and the new bills is the same guy, but different picture.

Its Sir Wilfrid Laurier, one of best prime ministers, served in the late 19th, early 20th centrury.
