People around you talk about seeing TV shows you saw when they first came out, for the first time on TBS or Nick At Night.

You remember when most of the shows were still in black and white.

You remember getting your first color TV.

You remember taking a tube out of the TV and going to the drugstore to test it.(fixed the TV btw.)

You remember when Yakko had less then a 1000 posts, wait that was only a few days ago. 😛

Golden Bear... got two words for ya... Bite Me! 😛

lol, ya I'm old, but I still got my cool in high gear... that and I'm the only person I know that's been thrown out of Toys R Us for playing lazer tag with a friend while riding around in those little Jeep cars they sell for billions of bucks.

You find most of your favorite music in the OLDIES or DISCOUNT section of Best Buy

You can remember records, and know what a turn table is for

You remember what an 8 track tape is

Ok, I am really going to age myself here, I can still remember watching the first moon walk.

And some of you young whipper snappers that call old people, old... may die sooner than you think! 😎

Just remember, my sister and brother-in-law both work at the Post Office!!! 😀

That pretty much describes me, and I am not too old...:frown:

I remember...

watching Pres. Kennedy's funeral on TV.

Typing my first computer program in Fortran on punch cards.

Buying gasoline for 18 cents a gallon.

when someone in their 20's calls you, Sir

ooooh that's a big pi$$y for me... specially since I'm female!!!

no seriously, last person that called me ma'am was probably around 29... I told him "my grandma is a ma'am, and she's dead. Wanna meet her??"

He got the picture.

I hate the sir thing. :|

You know you're old when a bunch of your favorite pro sports athletes are now coaches, or worse, owners!!! 🙁

I got my license in 1961 - Where were you that had gas that cheap??!!

you remember that before mickey D's, there was a hamburger joint called white castle...

the first hamburger joint I remember was white castles. a couple of years later it turned into the first mickey D's I ever ate at😱😀

in fact they used the same building... top of it had a "castle' style facade...
all micky D's did was to strap their "golden arches" to the sides

I cheated on that one a little; it was normally around 30 cents. The gas stations in our town had a price war and it dropped to 18 cents for about a week, this was in 1972.

It also helped there was a refinery in town.

Anyone remember Sambos restaurants? I think the PC crowd put them out of business or at least made them change names and decor.

sambo's was around till the mid 80's. I remember them in cali. They changed to some boring name afterwards. I remember the sign had a lazy black looking dude with a tiger chasing him or something.

Emulex yeah you got it...I remember back in the 60's going there on my birthday...they gave you a free meal on your b'day...I remember the sambo & tiger character...pretty sure PC got it too🙁
