You know you're a weakling when...

TridenT

You have extremely sore legs after playing Ultimate frisbee for like two hours.

I need to hit the weights...

Pretty sure I can't. I already went in the weight room at my college and I feel like shit going in there because all the guys in there are a lot stronger. Sigh... 🙁

Nah, nothing to do with being weak OP. More like not having done something for a while, and doing it. I'm sure next time you'll be a lot less sore.

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that you're never active, either mentally or physically?

Of course people are gonna be stronger/smarter if they're exercising themselves. Get a fucking clue, grow some balls, and gtfo your house

I couldn't open the ether recovery bottle in organic chem. Some girl walked by, opened it without breaking a sweat.

😱

This. I played a game of touch football a few months ago after a dry spell and was stiff as hell for a couple of days. It's all a matter of activity.

As for the heavies, there will always be someone bigger, stronger, and more muscular than you; and quite honestly, they don't give a shit about you. Go and lift in peace. If weight training is really that intimidating for you, hit up the cardio room or hell just go for a run 3+ times a week. Will do wonders.

Well, lost of things seem harder when you're high on ether.

it happens to the best of us

although its never happened to me, maybe I'm above the best?

I did some Ultimate the other week...so much pain for the next couple days...

I bike a decent amount, & play ball hockey once a week (fair bit of running), but the amount of running in Ultimate is insane if you aren't used to it IMO.

I can't walk at all today... I don't know how I will be dancing later tonight... :'(

Believe me, most of the people there only care about how they look. Unless you're doing something stupid or you drop weights on yourself chances are nobody is going to care 😉. Take advantage of your college weight room/gym, beats the hell out of paying per month to goto a fitness center.

You don't play defense?

When I went to catch a touchdown me and another guy were both going for it. (Same team) We were sprinting towards it and I was flailing my arms in the air trying to grab it and I am trying to figure out where it is... I am looking kind of up and it lands on the top of my head and I luckily caught it before it fell on the ground off my head. 🙂

Pretty sweet. That happens a lot. You can't figure out where it went.

you think they were like that when they started?

i'm weaker than most everyone at my gym, but i still lift weights. noone gives me any funny looks, and most people are more than willing to offer spots and suggestions.

anyways, what RESMonkey said was right. if you havent done that exercise in awhile, then you're gonna be very sore from doing it.

a couple months ago i started running...for the first time in years. first day, legs hurt like hell. 2 days later, they still hurt. i went again. the next day, legs were fine. and havent hurt much every time thereafter.

They had to start somewhere. Get your sorry ass in there and get to work.
