Bad: The car parked next to you is covered with blinking christmas lights.
Worse: The frequency of blinking is directly proportional to the speed of said vehicle.
Worst: The driver explains in great detail how he set it up, and you understand every word.

I need to graduate and get away from this place :(

The only thing I have to say on that subject is that sometimes I think it would be fun to do something like that but then i realise I have 20 other more important things i need to do in life. Maybe your college should give you even MORE work :p.

It blinks to the speed of the vehicle? Weird. I took the easy way out. The Christmas lights on my car are simply going through and A/C inverter....and I'm nice enough to have them setup to blink. :p

When even go AC, just rewire them for 12V DC from the lighter.

EDIT: fire hazards caused if you try to impliment this setup are NOT my fault

The guy to girl ratio is 4:1. That's not taking into account girls who are taken and girls that aren't cute.

Yeah, that was one of the reason why i choose not to go to GT, the girls here at Vanderbilt are WAAAY hotter than at GT, plus they are 55% of the population not 25%

RE: girls - George probably hangs out in front of the GSU dorms anyway (those not from ATL, Georgia State's dorms are next to GT, not GSU).

Yeah, but then you risk getting shot if you cross over the North Ave. threshold.

Not all the GT girls are bad, seriously. I saw attractive ones. They're just mainly INTA majors.

Hahaha, I had a friend go there. He got so sick of the life there, he ended up transfering to UT.

I like your sig though
"Georgia Tech is a drinking school with an engineering problem."

I could have gone DC, but that would require me buying a cig adapter and using a soldering iron. I already had the AC adapter in the car....so as usual, it was laziness that made me do it.

And not taking in to account girls affected by TBS

LOL... two friends of mine actually got mugged at gunpoint, on the campus side of North Av. One of them had no money, the other had only 5 bucks :D

Regarding girls... actually I have had better luck at Emory parties.

I knew a hot girl who went to GT, so they deffinitely exist, but just not in the quantities at other schools. Personally I would probably have gone to GT if they had given me a better financial aid package, but they were stingy and so screw them :p. As for extracirricular projects with a EE degree, I saw a REALLY cool one from some kids at MIT who made a disco floor with those 3x3 inch glass tiles used in showers and a bunch of LEDs. They controlled it with a microcontroller and programmed the stuff in MATLAB :p.

Thats nothing, at my university I am working on organizing a road trip to next years Star Trek convention in Las Vegas. With our program its hard to take time off, so convincing people to take 2 days off of school is a hard sell, but im still trying :D

I've danced on that floor! It was made by some kids in my dorm.

MIT is definatly affected by TBS....though the 50/50 ratio mitigates it a bit.

As for geekiness, a common recreational activity on my hall when taking a break from work is to play chess, or Go.
Listening to people refer to mathematical formulas and/or proofs as cute.
Math majors going to a Physics colloquim for 'fun'.

I could go on, but you get the idea....
