Calm yourself man. I did the same thing while I was unemployed, planning what I'd buy etc. I just had to learn that there were more important things to spend money on. I buy more hardware than most people I know but if i can't afford it or don't need it right then, I've learned to wait. Get married, you'll see what I mean. 🙂

here's what I did to break my addiction:

1. block out the fs/t + hot deals forum
2. had my g/f hide all the credit cards
3. let my g/f start keeping track of all the finances

That more or less killed my upgrading tendencies.

Then you think with all those extra parts you may as well build another box to sell.
