You know why Quake 4 Multiplayer sucks?

Because there's noone playing. That sucks.

All pings under 100 have 0 people in it or just 4. And those with people playing are very, very few into the single digits. Maybe like 2 or 3 servers. Everone is 150+ ping.

I feel guilty. But there just isn't enough time in the day. I can't even keep up with single player games. I have Gun, Castlevania: Curse of Darkness, Cod2, X3, Civ4, Dragon Quest 8 and Earth 2160 incoming. So I barely get to enjoy multiplayer games.

I would have been all over Q4 multiplayer... if it had just been like Quake1.

Are you saying it was actually bad but that I only enjoyed it because there was little selection? I'd disagree. I'd disagree because I played Quake1 for over 10 years which caused it to eclipse many other games. Infact, I played about 12 rounds of QWCA as late as last week. So.. what was your point again?

Quake 1 is still a far superior game to quake 4....i still am playing the SHAREWARE levels of Quake 1 DM, i dont think any version, reguardless of how fancy the graphics or weapons can replace the playability of Quake 1.

I played Quake1 for over 10years

ummm...wtf...thats not even possible...it came out in 96?

Sorry I was off by a year? I'm having trouble verifying dates also. There was a date when Quake1 was available in stores in a normal case but there was also a date when you could buy it over the phone which is what I ended up doing.

I only played doom3 multiplayer like twice before I put it away...it played pretty laggy. It might have been a connection issue, but the game seemed boring too so I didn't bother expending the effort to try and fix it.

From what I keep hearing from reviewing sites is that it's quake3 with nice graphics. Quake 3 doesn't suck.
