I was at the game cause I thought so as well. I was also at the Northwestern/Duke game for Duke's only win, so I wanted to continue the "streak".

My day went like this:

1) Woke up at 6am and drove 2 hours to ND.
2) Paid $20 to park and $62 for the ticket.
3) Broke my glasses while I tailgated with a few friends from college.
4) Game was cold and wet as hell. Oh, and I couldn't see cause I broke my glasses.
5) First half was godawful for both sides, until the final 2 minutes when ND just capitalized on Duke's TO's.
6) Disappointing 2nd half.
7) Tired, cold, and hungry at the end of the game.
8) Had to drive back 2 hours to Chicago.

All in all, not a very fulfilling day. Not at all.

Think of it this way...you got to see a football game (well...kinda see...since no glasses) in one of the most historical stadiums in the US. That may mean nothing to you...maybe you've seen a ton of games there...but i've never been there and as much as I hate ND, i could appreciate just being in that stadium.
