The trick is to cook bacon like regular meat, don't crucify it until they're crispy.

Soooo tasty yet sooo bad for you.

Then why are you buying bacon, & not several pounds of cheap ground meat?

Bacon is normally crucified on a cross made of chopstick pieces, and is left out in the sun like this in a foil lined box for several days to cook to a crispy brown color.

maybe you can score some 12oz generic bacon for $1.99. but then canned stuff is cheaper.

brown sugar + soy sauce + hint of toebasker... put on top of rice = super cheap, tasty and semi-healthy filler between meals.

You can put veggies (i prefer steamed) on it too.
