I remember seeing a thread like this a while back. Someone wanted to modify his hub so that it would fit (and work and look right) in one of his front drive bays. Some people thought it sounded good, and then someone linked to a thing that was just that, a hub that went into a front 5 1/4 bay. They exist...I'll go look around and see if I can find it again.
a friend of mine already has one, and the bad thing is that it really sux... 🙁 it only 10Mbps, and kicked us every 10 minutes from quake2 (yes, that was the last time we used it). If it isnt a high quality card, then an internaal hub really isnt that cool 🙁
My friend has a full tower case. He modded (spelling?) the case and cut a hole at the top on the back and mounted a 10/100 5 port hub there. It is pretty cool. Pretty handy for small lan parties...
