While you are right in some cases, a few points:

1)medical care and handicapped spaces cost ME tax money.

2)race and national origin are completely out of our control. Weight and religion are not. Sure enough, not a lot of racial bashing gets tolerated on this forum...but a decent bit of religion and fat-bashing does.

1)parks and pe classes for children to learn to exercise cost ME tax money. just let them sit at their workstations, buy excessive amounts of soda, generating jobs and corp taxes and die early. Stop wasting money trying to make everyone into paris hilton.

There is a woman in my apartment building who has a handicapped parking tag. The only ailment that I can notice is that she is obese. I would be mad that I have to park around the corner sometimes while she always has a front row spot except for the fact that she is immense and I can laugh at that.

I've never hid the fact I'm fat (375lbs), so if I want to make fun of other fat people I will. But you won't see me park in a handicap space or ever ride an electric scooter.

Or we should all be railing against immigrants for coming to this country...after all, they do that voluntary (except for the kids) and since they are taking jobs that Americans might want, that's more to hate them for...right?

Oh yeah, let's not forget...they are costing us money as well. State and other government agencies, hospitals and other businesses have to hire translators for them, publish manuals and tons of other paperwork in a multitude of foreign languages...THAT all costs us money...PLUS, look at how many LEGAL immigrants are getting government services...if they weren't, why would all the paperwork need to be in any language except English?

But, do you NEED a scooter or qualify for a handicapped parking pass?
If you don't qualify for one, (just being fat doesn't qualify you) then why would you park in a parking place designated for handicapped people anyway? If you don't NEED a scooter to get around, why the hell would you want to ride around, looking like an idiot in one in the first place? It took a lot of nagging by my wife to get me into one. I hate the dammed things, but if I don't drive one, my time in the store is VERY limited. I can usually walk up one aisle and down the next...and I'm done...some days, not that well.

Hell, I'm subject to make a bit of fun at fat people, and I are one, but I don't understand all the hate and anger from everyone here. Many of the people here have something or another that someone else dislikes, race, religion, color, national origin, sexual orientation, (yes, most of those are Constitutionally protected classes) and hating on any of them here will get you a LOOOOONG vacation...(like forever)...but fat people...let them choke on their cheetos. :roll:

You're right, fat people are pretty much universally looked down upon, and there's absolutely nothing you can do about it. Except lose some weight. Or just accept it. 2 months ago I weighed ~ 220lbs (I'm 5' 9). Tub of lardass was I.
I started a carb free diet and lost a bit of weight. I'm at 189lbs now. 24 more to go.
