Yea dude, my last laptop only get about 318 minutes of regular use.

Really? Mine only get about 4 hours.

Fuck your dumbass minutes unit if measurement.

Guesstimation plays a huge part in getting a quick idea without a calculator.. 5 hours is, a nice round number to remember, 300 minutes so I would have guessed it was a bit less than 10 hours in the blink of an eye. Im sure there would be people who would bitch if it was only advertised in hours. Work with what ya got is what my math professor drilled into us.

You have to go through all that brain fart to work out that it is just under 10 hours.

How long of a drive is it for this trip? It's not that bad, it's only 34640 minutes long

This example doesn't go with the rest. Everything else you've mentioned has been hours, but this one should be days or weeks. I don't know which one would piss you off less because you're algorithm isn't deterministic anymore.

It would be better, if they specified the time in hours and minutes, as well. Just using a pile of minutes, is a bit of a pain to quickly understand.
