Brilliant! Why should they have to stand out on a cold street?! Now they'll probably just locate themselves in a nice cafe and wait for potential clients. Should make red light districts much nicer.

Perfect for a police sting, show up to cafe and get jumped by 5 detectives. Now they don't even have to leave the donuts shop.

Well keep in mind it's not illegal here. I think technically it's legal to be a prostitute but not legal to pick them up. In other countries it's completely legal. In Nevada there is at least one county where it's legal. In South America it's legal. In Canada and Mexico it's legal. In Asia it's illegal but everyone does it anyways as part of the second wife culture.

400 euros to fuck a prostitute? Ya.. fuck that.

Its well worth it for people you would otherwise have no chance in hell ever sleeping with such a super hot woman.

But ATOTers obviously never have such a need with our Brad Pitt looks and six figure salaries

It's in a grey zone in Canada. Due to the recent court ruling, it's not illegal, but it's not legal either. The government hasn't addressed it with a new law yet. They may not, much like they did with abortion. It's just very low on their priority list right now.

Its all about economics and desperation. I'm sure there are cheaper ones for your poor ass.

I'm content having sex with my wife once a month... twice during my birthday month! And all that costs me is my entire salary and manhood.

Wow, look at all these people in defense of paying money for sex.

Sure, why not?

Someone has a product or service I want, that product is not inhumane (like a child slave), and I can pay what they want for it. Why not undergo the transaction?

I see it as risk management.

Sure you can find some chick on a dating site, take her to a nice dinner, and maybe get some sex afterwards. Even for a $100 dinner that would be a deal compared to a escort.

BUT

There is no guarantee the girl will put out after that expensive dinner. It might take a few dates with the girl, or a few dates with a few different girls to score. At some point when you do score the combined cash outlay it took to get there might be far beyond what an escort would cost. Also you will have expended a lot of time on dinners and dates that you can never get back.

I have never been in that scene, but if I was ever single again I think for at least a few months afterwards I would just pay for sex rather than play the odds of dating.

There is something to be said for sex with a committed partner you are comfortable with, but you aren't getting that from a one night stand OR an escort. So at a practical level why is one worse than the other?

Wow, look at all these people in defense of paying money for sex. Get out of the house more.

If you're not paying for sex, then you aren't getting any sex.

There are very rare exceptions to this rule (i.e. rock stars).

For the rest of us, we are paying for it one way or another.

P.S. Relevant quote: "You don't pay a prostitute for sex, you pay her to leave"
