I sent a letter to the e-mail address for the owner in the article. I'm hoping that if the guy is convicted that people can write letters to the judge before sentencing. Nothing like public pressure to assure the harshest sentence.

Although Gizmo died a violent and tragic death; hopefully his death will lead to new legislation and laws regarding animal cruelty in the state of TN. We are currently trying to get all three men prosecuted in this case. Yes, I said it, there were actually three men that beat gizmo to death, yet only one was arrested at the scene of the murder. My family thanks you for taking time out of your day to send prayers and best wishes.

I hope this incident will inspire someone to enlighten their peers to what I was once ignorant to; that in the state of TN, you can purposely and viciously kill another?s pet, (a family member), and get away with it. That is absolutely awful.

Those yipping little dogs can be very annyoing though, and I must admit there are times when I've wished I could do somtehing like that to a dog that just wouldn't stop barking, but the difference between thought and action is what seperates us from the animals.
