I used to own a dog just like that. Those things are such a riot. Sucks what happened, but like Skoorb said above, the story is a bit humorous the way they describe him being kicked like a football.

That's awful. Maybe they ought to do that same thing- only to scale. 180(?) pound dude kicking a 2lb dog, scale that up to a 16200lb object kicking a 180lb man. :Q :|
I'm guessing if he wants to know what it's like, he'd have to be kicked by someone weighing about 15,750 pounds that's roughly 100 ft. tall. Then he would be kicked a distance of 414 feet and probably atleast 200 feet high. Now all one need to find is one huge thing to kick him

I didn't read more than past the first paragraph or two. I'm simply referring back to past day dreaming - dreams I know most of us have shared - about turning that little yappy dog that it's owner thinks is "so cute, and just marking his territory" into a make-shift soccer ball.
It's sad what happened and I'd probably want to use the kick's head as a ball too, but if it HAD to happen it's better to a little tiny yappy dog (although maybe this one wasn't yappy) than a real dog.
Does it matter? I mean the dog was 2 pounds. Just think about a human's ability to kick and the force it must put on the object. The dog would have been dead on contact with the kick.
Anyway I really hate hearing of animal cruelty. There should be a more severe penalty for animal cruelty. I say torture him that bastard. First remove all of his finger nails then get a paper and put paper cuts all over his body. Then, pour raw lemon juice all over his body and when he's had enough, kick his worthless body like a sack of potato until he's dead. :|
I sent a letter to the e-mail address for the owner in the article. I'm hoping that if the guy is convicted that people can write letters to the judge before sentencing. Nothing like public pressure to assure the harshest sentence.
