You just arrived to 2010 from 1990 via time travel...

What would impress you the most? What would disappoint you the most?

Obviously, we are assuming you are still the same age as back in 1990.

I would be impressed with the quality of video game graphics and disappointed with the lack of flying cars.

Of course, if you are under 20 then you do not meet the eligibility requirements to participate in this mental exercise.

I was five back in 1990. I'd probably be impressed by today's video games and unimpressed with today's Saturday morning cartoons. 😛

I'd say, computers/consoles/iphones, and cars. I'd be 8 after all. If i was older though, black president and 'why are homes still worth what they were worth when i left?'

Smart phones and video game graphics come to mind first, as others have said. I would probably sit there watching someone play a video game for hours before I realized it wasn't a movie.

I'd certainly decry the loss of the letter [H], but wow...where to start. There have been a LOT of changes since 1990...computers everywhere, in everything, controlling everything, cell phone/smart phone technology, teh intarwebs, changes in vehicle technology and styling, then, there's the huge political division that's become so...dividing here in the USA. seems like before, even though the two parties didn't always see eye-to-eye, they could still manage to work together and get things done...nowadays, it seems like party politics takes precedence over running the country.

Smart phones are cool. Modern cars are pretty great (especially compared to what was offered in 1990). The first time someone googled something in front of me (bonus points for if they used a touchscreen phone) or showed me a youtube video I'd be impressed.

Impressed with Lougle
Disappointed that Motley Lou (Lue??) broke up...

Considering the times, I'd probably be surprised by how little AIDS is talked about anymore.

obligatory: "Where's my flying car!?"

I'd be disappointed to see car technology is still essentially the same after 20 more years.

The most impressive thing would be the internet and how it is so heavily ingrained in our daily lives.
