You hear your roommate's alarm go off with him still asleep...

You hear that your roommate's alarm has been going off for two minutes but has failed to wake up due to his deep sleep. What would you do?

id wake him up, cuz im not a dick to him and were cool.

I also dont want to hear him bitch about being late and deal with him 😛

I usually starting yelling at him when I had a roommate. I know MartyMcfly threw a boot or shoe at one of his former roomies a couple times.

If you are roomates, it would just be courtesy--you'd hope he would get your back sometime, too.

I woke him up the first couple times, but it soon became apparent that it was an ongoing thing so I let him suffer the consequences.

This was a recurring problem I had with a roommate who liked to use the snooze alot. He would set his alarm for well before I needed to get up but just about everyday I would be up and gone before he finished hitting the snooze over and over. Here is what I did:

His alarm clock sat on my stereo speaker which was at the foot of his bed. One night I set my stereo to the same station as his clock radio. The next morning when his alarm sounded, I reached over and turned my stereo on. He about ripped his clock radio apart trying to turn it off.

😀

That would piss me off. I'd wake him up. If he can't wake up with his normal alarm clock then it's time to start using one of those USB vibrators with a timer setup on the PC.

I'm a light sleeper.

I bought my roommate a new alarm clock for Christmas because his old one was like a fire alarm going off in our room each morning. The worst part about his old alarm clock was that it would keep going for a couple more seconds AFTER you turn it off just to make sure that you're awake. I literally sat up in bed each morning after being jolted awake by his alarm.

At very least check on him to make sure he hasn't drown in a pool of his own vomit, and then may....just maybe, drop an elbow from the top ropes directly on his satchel.

im afraid of having an easily pissed off roommate in the fall... see, i have trouble waking up to alarms and like the snooze cuz i just don't feel like moving about yet, BUT I will be in ROTC next year and that means PT a few mornings a week. I am hoping they stick me with another ROTC mate who has to wake up with me, as to not piss him off those mornings when I probably have to wake up at like 5 or 6am blairing because it has to be loud for me to get up.

This used to happen to me and my roommate. It's his responsibility to get himself out of bed, not mine, so I didn't wake him. However, after listening to the damn alarm for a half hour for the millionth week in a row, I tripped the circuit breaker to his room. He had the balls to yell at me when he was late for work yet again

Haven't had a "room mate" since I got out of the Corps., but I had that problem occasionally back then. Shared a barracks with someone. The first time, I'd wake them up...not very nicely, because "I AIN"T yer momma! GET THE FVCK UP!" After that, I just let the lazy bstard sleep, and let him deal with the first sgt. himself...
