I (and most americans, I think) consider any friendly fire incident a horrible shame, no matter the nationality of the friendly on the other end, and I think the British army probably stands out more than any other -- the U.K. army is almost as well loved here as our own.![]()
Guys like the one interviewed don't make us look insensitive.
They make us look calloused, arrogant, and belligerent.
