You have 100 $. What you upgrade first in this system?

What's up with that power supply thing? It may not be a known brand but it's not cheap either. It does the job. Why should I spend money to get another one? 😕

300 watts is rather low for your system, i'm surprised it even runs with that. if you ever try to do any kind of video card upgrade or add a hard drive the computer will probably take a dump. i've seen cheap power supplies die and take out all the hardware with them, i've seen a few merely "explode" in a stream of blue sparks. generic power supplies are fine and dandy if its just some generic machine that doesn't matter much, but you have very decent hardware,i wouldn't trust it.

I would buy a new PSU so when the new graphics cards come around, you'll be ready, I would look at a PSU like this one if I were yousa 🙂 Antec's Finest

EDIT: Yea, and like what was said above, a PSU is usually the most underestimated part of your system, as far as its' worth goes, but it is actually a very important part. A good PSU is essential to stability.

What they said. But if you must spend money (not on your GF 😉) I would buy a new Fortron PSU.

No!! forton too loud, get a coolmax tarus CX!!!

but anyway, if u dont need more power. then i say u dont need a new PSU!

I have basicly ur setup with a slighty better vid card and two HDD and 1 gig of ram and i was running it with a 300W PSU that came with my compaq for like a week before a newPSU came in the mail.

i really NEVER see a reason to get 400W+

-->Just remember at high temp a 300 w power supply becomes a 250 - 200, Make sure ur case does the trick.

Either way go out with ur GF, or just get wasted with ur buddies.
Doin stuff with good groups of friends can be more fun than any computer game.

Just my opinion

If you spend anything on the PC I'd upgrade in this order:
PSU > Video card > RAM > Mobile Barton > DVD Burner
