I have done this in real life too. 🙁 I always overcame it though.

The details would be just percieved as bragging, I am glad I am out of that.

Even now, I will go on record I haven't always won those battles recently. Things are changing now though 🙂.

I actually get these emails a lot. This one I know came from this thread though so that is awesome.
 
You shouldn't have to tell people how great you are. If you are truly that great, they already know.

I did nothing wrong. In fact, my mortgage company sent me a nice letter with them saying they are working on applying my payments they 'finally found' in January. In February they served me a foreclosure.

It's utterly insane. The funny part is asshats here want to blame me. Technically I was actually paid a month in advance on my mortgage due to a closing mistake and I paid ahead of schedule. Instead of skipping a month, I just kept going.

I'd get the advise of a lawyer over this, "simple clerical error"?, no one can cause that kind of issues and $$ damages and use that as an excuse, if you possess proof of timely payment on your loan they should be up shit's creek, you have been monetarily damaged by their ineptness, sue the crap out of 'em I would. Kind of reminds me of when you see a dump truck on the highway with the sign "we don't pay for cracked windshields", sorry, you can put any bumper sticker on your truck you like, if you damage a car your still responsible..

This. People who keep boasting about themselves are usually insecure.

For all we know he's going through some depression and is contemplating gassing himself in his M3 by flooring it inside his garage. 🙁 He should seek help, there are hotlines for people like him.

I did a little googling for a phrase from that and apparently someone went on a stupid spam rampage. I'm seeing this email referenced on all sorts of forums.

This thread got me thinking. So I went through one page of Alkemyst's post history. There is a 32% chance he will reply to this message and say "bro" in said reply.
