I haven;t built a system since my tbird 1gig.
you think my older sparkle 300w PSU is good enough for the following?

NF2 mobo
XP (2500+ to 2800+) range
1.5 gig DDR RAM
2X120 gig HD 2meg buffer
Diamond ViperII (old ass VID card)
floppy
CD-RW

That'll be more than enough. I'm running a P4 2.6C, 1GB DDR, 2 hd's, Radeon 9600, GameTheater XP, DVD/CDRW, floppy, and 2 case fans off of a 300-watt PSU.

The vast majority of systems can run fine on quality 300-watt PSUs. It's efficiency that matters, not just the big wattage number. From what I've read, Sparkles are a good brand of PSUs.

You'll be fine.

doh! I didn't know there was a difference in the voltage of Vid cards..
Is the same thing true about PCI vid cards?
I have a radeon 7200? 7100? PCI card.. Does this have a different voltage too?
