I know a dropout and an almost didn't graduate. The moron who almost didn't pass didn't do some 10 minute art assignments...over the course of the whole year. He graduated because he plea bargained and made them up at summer school. He's, naturally, living at home now.

It's kinda hard not to graduate high school. They do everything in their power to help you graduate ... even for the academically challenged. Most of them drop out because they don't want to do the work anymore. I don't know anyone who dropped out because he/she couldn't handle the homework.

From what I've seen, the people who dropped out of high school start having problems with school back in grade school. They had given up before they had reached high school but could not legally drop out until they were 16.

No. It's really hard to "try" to pass high school and not do it, UNLESS you have some serious trauma in your life.
