I was taking a shower this morning and everything was going great. Well my cat jumped up on the side of the tub and I heard him knock my soap bar on the floor. Well anyway I finished my shower and started to get out of the tub, and guess what happened! I stepped on the damn bar of soap 🙁 I started to fall instantly and I had to make a split second decision. One should I fall straight down and rack my nuts on the edge of the tub or two fall backwards out of the tub. Please note I wear glasses and have 20/200 vision without them on 😀

I chose the latter. Well anyway when I fell out of the tub I also took the whole entire shower curtain/rod with me. It was like everything was in slow motion...then all of a sudden bang!! I hit the back of my frick'in head on the toilet.🙁 I did a quick check to see if I f'ed anything up and I noticed I was bleeding from the back of my head 🙁 I am recently divorced and live alone so I have been examing the wound using two mirrors.

The wound is around an inch long and about 3/16 wide but I cannot see my skull. Whew! I don't think I will require stitches. What should I do to take care of this wound myself?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Get dressed (important first step) and go ask a neighbor to do a quick check of the wound for you. Go to the hospital if needed, if not, fix the shower curtain. Shoot cat.

Agreed. You cracked your head open. Seek medical attention.

See a doc. Head wounds can be trouble.


Next time make sure the soap is back in the dish before you get out. 😉
 
With the soap dropping on the ground I began to think this thread was going elsewhere...
