That ATI card you linked too is fugly. It looks like it was smelted out of Mr. T's leftover chains.

What do you mean 'crappy drivers'? I've never had a problem with ATI's drivers and they update them every month unlike nVidia which updates theirs every 6 months!🙂
Even with a window, all you see is the profile of the card and cooler. I've yet to see a cool profile, they pretty much all look the same from the side.Originally posted by: thanasi
you got to admit when you have a window on your case you got to make it look cool as possible but if I didnt I wouldnt care if the card looked like barbra strysand

ATi updates them every month because they HAVE to. Their driver team has come a long way, but they're still not nVidia caliber.
Both companies have buggy drivers, but if you notice, ATi notoriously has to make game bug fixes that often because...well...what I just said above. 😛

Most people dont have windows, and most cards are AGP so you cant even see the cooler. If you really care how it looks, go watercooling. A WC heatsink looks much better than air coolers do.

Ronin has no idea what he is talking about.
ATI's driver problems were fixed completly once the 9000/9500/9700 were luanched.
We all know what happened after that.
Anyways
Hes just fanboy material.
ATI's drivers and Nvidia drivers..
They're both equally good.

Ronin is a gaming industry professional, who uses all high end hardware. Why should we take your word over his? What do you do?

Why dont you shut up for once.
Your such a, well I'd rather not say.
Personally I dont believe whatever Ronin says after he tried to convince he in another thread his 6800Ultra idled 40C with 50C load with the stock cooler and claimed the NV Silencer dropped his temps even more after that.
But yes, I also use high end hardware, thank you very much.
