Congrats to both teams for putting up a good hard fight. Congrats to Team Canada for winning. Both countries should be good sport and not play the "bitterness game" or the "we kicked your arse" game, it really does nothing at this point when we have so many people's emotions going wild.

Just my observation in these many threads about the game...

I agree, I dont know who came up with our gameplan but it wasnt very good. Our shots were bad and Canada had too many great looks. Oh well At least we have more total medals than thats what really counts!!!!!!!
 
Yeah...the US really came on in the third and for awhile I thought Canada was going to let one in.

PS: Swany, the reffing was totally unbiased...considering Canada had more penaties, including a REALLY bad call against Yzerman in the third. French? Read your own sig dude.. it's sure not hiding right now :>

 
Could you imagine the high pitched whines emitting from up North is Team USA would have won? I think most of us are just thrilled USA was able to medal. In fact I can't remember the last time USA was actuafly a power in the Winter Olympics. Even when we have had home field advantage we usually get our asses handed to us.So Canada, your national Pride has been restored once more. Congratulations

USA played very well especially the canadian players. Way to go team Canada!
