You ever write a paper and it seems like you can't wrap it up?

Gah, my paper doesn't seem to want to stop.

I'm only about halfway through my outline and I'm already at 8 pages. And that's after tightening up one of my earlier sections because I was tired of typing about it.

The prof was expecting papers around 8-10 pages. I'm going to end up with a 15-18 page paper at this rate.

I'm afraid if I quit now, I won't be able to finish it.
It sucks that it's ending up too long, but atleast I'm on a roll. I just want to finish so I can get some sleep before my first class 6 hours from now.

Papers just suck.

Be blunt about it. Stop at exactly 8 pages no matter what you are typing about and put "THE END".

That's an awesome idea.

I wouldn't put "THE END" though, I would just have it end abruptly in mid-sentence.
