I put you on hold.

Some lady called up and as soon as i picked up her call she said "could i put you on hold"so i wait and waiting for like 2 minutes. You know what i got other people waiting on hold so i hung up.

I'd be curious to find out who the hell is calling me up and then putting me straight on hold.

It was probably a doctors office, the doctors put there nurses or assistants on the phone to call up and when someone picks up they put you on hold to go find the doctor.

Same here...When she asked, I would have said "Uh...just go ahead and call me back"
