Yeah I probably should have mentioned that, but forgot that's his current project.

Cayless made a name for himself with Chimneyspeak, which has already ended and disappeared from the internet. He also started Redd, which is what I linked to. He did a few chapters of Redd before starting on a Chimneyspeak prologue/prequel thing, which is where the porn comes in. Chimneyspeak is primarily about the Madam of 1800's London's prostitute's union and her midget bouncer. That combined with Cayless', uhm, offbeat sense of humor makes for some pretty risque storytelling. He had kept actual porn out of Chimneyspeak, instead releasing penny dreadfuls on the side, but it looks like he's cutting out the middleman for the prequel.

I'm not a big fan of Mary Elizabeth Winstead. Her character also seemed kind of flat in that movie. I haven't read the comics so I don't really know how the two compare.

Fun fact, a friend of mine was injured on the set of that movie. She was supposed to be an extra in the club scene, until a piece of the set fell on her.

Yeah Knives was hot. Envy was kinda hot too. I love that movie.
