Insurance was bad (halfway between a 4-cyl Accord and a 280 HP, 2-door Lincoln) but on a well-maintained example you're looking at only about $1,500/year in maintenance. Taken care of, they don't break. Of course, if you buy a cheap one, it becomes the most expensive thing in the world very fast.

And if you're looking at a TL, you're no "poor student". 😛
