You are not a picky eater, but some foods you don't like?

Because they smell/taste gross.

There are so many diff ones.

Ever tried those chewy and delicious oyster shrooms? How about enoki or shitake?

How about King oyster mushrooms (diff from regular oyster)?

Slice these thin vertically, apply olive oil, S&P and bake until golden. They taste sooooooooooooo good like scallops.

Okra is sick
Organs
Beets
As someone else mentioned.. I hate the stem middle section of lettuce.
I like crab but not the joint sections of the legs for some reason and certainly not the nasty stuff inside. Regular crab meat is great though.
Anchovies
Olive Loaf
Head Cheese
Not a huge fan of olives
Bree or super strong cheeses.

mayonnaise. It is the spawn of a pact between satan and communists.

you people hate shrooms, really? I wouldn't want to live in this world if I couldn't get my chanterelles!

I love most of the stuff quoted in this thread.

I will avoid ordering/pick out of a dish any bell peppers contaminating the food.

No. I eat everything except milk products. Cheeses, milk, ice cream etc due to lactose intolerance, not because I don't like it. I'd eat that too if I could. Some strange things I eat include cabeza, lengua, tripa, snake, frogs and every vegitable. My fav is brussel sprouts.

I think my passive eating habits came from my dad who used to pay us to eat weird shit. Like leeches for $50 a pop or worm when out fishing. His liitle amusement I guess kept my pallet wide open for cash.

Fruits of the sea, other than fish.
Cucumber (but pickled is good)
Any melon-type thing. honey dew, cantaloupe, etc.
Fungus.
Gin

Not crazy about raw bell peppers, but like all cooked peppers, and most raw, or pickled.

Seafood (of basically any type)
Spicy (as in hot spice, not flavor spice)
Cottage Cheese

LOL You couldn't survive at my house. 1/2 the days are fish caught by me with Tony Chachere's Creole hot and spicy seasoning both baked and deep fried batter seasoning. And my home made tarter is chunky like cottage cheese albeit with no milk products.

Yeah, that wouldn't work well. I'm allergic to tons of seafood, but even the stuff I can eat I don't much like. Probably lack of developing a taste for it because of the allergies.

Spicy stuff could probably kill me (literally) too. Taco Bell mild sauce makes me sweat like crazy. Anything warmer causes me to break out and have trouble breathing.

The cottage cheese thing...not sure what that's about. Just can't stand it. I like many types of tartar sauce though, and other chunky foods (like tapioca).

Other than those things I eat almost anything. Love most fruits and veggies, dairy, breads, meats, etc.

I guess you don't dig on thai food then? A favorite of Z at lvl 10 of course. Probably better, as you age, I'm 39, you will shit razor blades. lol.

Eggs
Bananas
Melons - not so much that I don't like them, but they give me a mild allergic reaction that sometimes makes me feel nauseous
ANY overcooked seafood - so gross
squishy gross creamy things like cottage cheese, yogurt, tapioca, vanilla pudding, etc.

Then there are countless things I just won't eat unless they're prepared well / quality ingredients.

Any meat that derived from poor people. IOW, assholes, livers, hearts, tongues, or other inedible shit people ate because they had to.
Brussels sprouts
Cottage cheese
vodka

...Avacado.

Yes. This. The texture is repulsive and the flavor to make up for it just isn't there.

Never really cared for mushrooms either for the same reason. I wouldn't pick them off of pizza, but I damn sure wouldn't pay extra for them. I've had some really good baked mushroom cheese melt things with sun-dried tomatoes, but NONE of the flavor came from the mushroom and a flaky pastry crust would have complemented it a million times better.

Blood, eggplant, and bitter melon (if that's what white people call it).

Otherwise, I'll eat just about anything else I've tried before.

I resent this. Chicken hearts are amazing. Livers are nice, especially in pâté. Tongues and pig hearts etc. are all pretty nice too, boiled, served just with soy sauce and sesame oil. And intestine...awesome.

Never had asshole before...have you?

And what's IOW? Isle of Wight?

I'm the pickiest eater of anyone I have heard of (but I like peas).

I won't even try to make a big list, but just mention a few areas.

Nothing from water, except water. The only vegetables I eat are artichokes, potatoes, corn, peas, beans and carrots (in only a few ways cooked).

If I order a hot dog or burger, the only toppings are ketchup, cheese (not any form of 'blue' or pepper cheese), and bacon, or chili (no pieces of pepper/onion) or pineapple.

No eggs (directly - ok in baked goods), no milk (directly), no coffee...

Only nuts: peanuts, cashews, pistachios, almonds. No melons, kiwis, pomegrantes, etc.

That's an idea.
