Single core 1.66GHz looks super pointless when dual core is only $30 more.
I was also hoping for a bigger speed bump, maybe 2.3GHz or thereabouts. Hopefully that'll come soon.
 
I wonder how they will OC with the 65nm process. I'm going to be the first to buy a 12" x86 Apple laptop with Yonah (I like OSX).

They wont, different socket. I belive that they use Socket 480. On another note, these prices should be about the same as Presler. Thats what I'm more interested in keeping an eye on.
 
As Vee has posted before, the processor to watch is Conroe, not Yonah. Conroe will be targetted at the desktop and should be faster per-clock than Yonah, while sporting a similar design.

Yes but that and Whitefield will not be out until 2007 *at best*.
