I am a Buddhist, if you didn't already know from my username. I am not very flexible, which results in my not being able to obtain the Lotus position. What stretches can/should I do to make this possible?
I don't know what the lotus looks like, but figure out which muscle is preventing you from getting in that position, and do stretches for that until you can get it. Maybe multiple muscles.
check out exerises that martial artists do for warming up...they are some great legs exercises and thats an easy position once you are loosened up and stretched...it wont happen right away though
