Yo shaz, my kworld broke

Bought a kworld tv tuner 3 months ago,, it's in the dust dead man,, like crap dude..

I'm looking to get either a hauppauge 500MCE or an ATI TV wonder Elite

Anyone have thoughts??

Egg reviews say the TV wonder elite tends to burn out. BUTTTTT " CNET " says that ATI's theater 550 chip produces SUPERIOR image quality.

Price not an issue.

Any other reccomendations?

I think the TV Wonder Elite does produce superior video as opposed to a non-550 card, and as for burning up... /shrug. Mine is going on six months old.

well idk really,, but according to the reviews they run real hot. and no heat sink.. I'd suggest like some arctic silver epoxy and a north bridge cooler.. maybe a 60mm tied with something..

i jsut hate the replacement policies of only REFURBISHED.. wtf is up with that,, even if u bought it like for 2 days it breaks they give you a 6months old refurb.. thats mad gay
