I'm not sure where you're getting your info, but the TC is not faster than the TSX. If anything, it's the other way around.

Your tC is also anemic on features and quality when compared to the TSX.

The RSX is based on the civic chassis, RSX-S engine is K20A2, high rpm version of base RSX/civic SI (K20A3).

If you're talking about the TSX, the TSX is based on the accord chassis. Engine is the K24A2, same family engine as the RSX, but heavily stroked, very lightly bored. Similar to the 2.4 in the USDM accord (K24A4), but is the high RPM version.

Suspension parts and tuning between the TSX and accord are indeed different, but I suspect it's pretty easy to make an accord handle like a TSX with the appropriate parts swap. Most of the suspension pieces are interchangeable between the cars.

OS = right
sniperruff = moron

:p

And the TSX = Japanese Accord exterior + Inspire interior
US Accord = Japanese Accord interior + Inspire exterior

the tsx doesnt seem so much a drag racer like you guys are wanting it to be. for that you need a MB S-class. but then again, thats even worse in terms of $$$ for hp.

its not all about hp guys. i suppose im a hippocrite. but well i thought if i was going to get a sedan again, i'd have seriously looked at the tsx.

its got nearly the size of a TL, and in fact has ab igger trunk. comes with a ton of standard features, and it is relatively inexpensive at about 26k. granted it has only 166 lb ft torque, and its fwd, but i dont really think its meant to be a race car.

some magazine did a comparison between it a saab 9-3 and a merc c230 and said it was better and sportier, and those other cars are rwd and awd. i think its a great car for the money. i'd also look at the is300 at that range though, you can get huge discounts on an is300 and itll cost a little more similarly equipped.

Still doens't matter, the TSX outclasses and outhandles the tC.

Have you test drove one, or even sat in one before? I am only 6 feet tall, and with the seat set all the way back, I felt very cramped in that car. I got a WRX instead, nothing to regret about it, and very fun in the snow.

Great, now we're racing websites.

Well atleast now we know you sure as hell didn't find out from lining up against a TSX.

The tC is a cheap econo car with "amenities". No idiot would even think of comparison shopping a tC with an IS300, TSX, or an entry level Beamer.

Are you kidding me? I guess it's what you define as "amenities"....

Big rims and a MP3 player? The Scion line is an entry level econo car line that's customizeable. Period. You can try to sugar coat it anyway you want to but there's no changing the fact. The tC is by far the most "well off" car in the Scion lineup but it's still an econo car.

That's not really my point. I was just following the lead of other posters showing that this car is slow for the money.

TC
60 mph: 7.4
Standing 1/4-mile: 15.7 sec @ 88 mph

TSX
60 mph: 7.2
Standing 1/4-mile: 15.6 sec @ 91 mph

God damn you're a dumbass moron. People shopping this segment don't look at power as the primary consideration. And it's still faster than your car. So STFU.
