200hp is just fine for a car that size, doesn't feel underpowered at all. Love the trans on it too.

Now if it came with the old Accord 130hp 4cyl, then I'd agree with you.

200 horses aint bad for $25k

my 165 hp $17,000 car is faster. and an accord v6 beats the snot out of the tsx.

the TSX looks about 5000 times better than an accord, and if i guess right, your sentra SE-R is just a regular sentra with an altima engine in it, with some red badges.

'05 mustang puts out over 300 for $25k :D

and pieces magically fall apart in your hand ;)

Just speaking from experience with a 95 and 96 mustang. Man, that thing seemed like a plastic econobox with a big engine strapped in the front.

We even had the fuel lines rust and get into the engine. Absolute nightmare.

When you buy a luxury car, it doesn't really matter what the peak horsepower is

Ff you're buying luxury, you don't go around flooring the car, you just drive it nicely

it's a light-weight car based on the RSX. surely more power would be nice, but it was never meant to be some sort of drag-racer anyway. it would be more fun on a track than the spongy accord with more power.

I'm not sure I would say flat out faster. Both are about low 15s cars. Plus the ladies would probably like a TSX more than a Sentra. :p

TSX power and feature wise works out fine against other competitors, such as A4, C class, etc.

He should consider an accord V6 also though. I will mention the TSX is quite sad in automatic, I was browsing around some TSX forum and there was a 1/4 mile thread and auto TSXs were posting high 16s, low 17s, which is pretty slow.

Interestingly enough, a TSX forum had a group buy on TSXs in CA

Slow for the price. My tC cost 10 grand less and goes 1/2 second faster to 60 with nearly 40 less hp.
