I don't think what I said implies that, but I obviously don't think that murder was justified here...but assuming there was racism going on, I don't have much sympathy for the victims. that would also be assuming only the racists got killed, which might not be the case. if you are fucking with a guy like that, what do you expect? some people are fucking nuts, and will come and kill you. not that its justified exactly, but its not some random bullshit.

a lot of people in another thread think that punching a girl justifies getting your ass kicked and then head stomped in the street by a UFC fighter. that could have easily killed the guy but people justified it. this situation is on a higher level, but not too different in going to extremes

Completely different. The UFC vs punk, the punk physically assaulted someone.
In this case, even if the other people were racists, they have the right to say or believe in whatever they want. Freedom of speech and all that. Now the work place can have rules against it, but racist assholes aren't breaking the law by using speech.
And by definition, the murderer here is a racist asshole because he only targeted people based on racial standards, therefore, it's hate crime.

Physically assaulting a woman is completely different than someone possibly saying or doing something that is considered racist.
