I wouldn't worry. The turbolink 420W is actually a rebadged cwt-420, which is made by Channel Well Technologies.

This powersupply is also the same exact one used in the antec sx1040.

Damn, that's pretty bad.

Are you sure it's your motherboard? Have you checked the power supply?

You never know, your components might be just fine. Try with another power supply.

I'll tell you exactly what happened, and it has NOTHING to do with PSU. Look closer at the pics and you'll notice a nice coating of dust inside. There's your problem.

I don't think so.... I've seen computers with 1000x more dust operating fine.

Mine is one of them. :p

Hell, my mboard has a stream of sticky pop running down it... left a paper cup sitting on the power supply(case off, of course) too long, didn't know it was leaking. ;)

That happened about 2 years ago. I've been too lazy to take the computer apart and clean it.

AHAHAHHAHAAHAH that's the funniest statement I've heard in awhile. Mind if I use it in my sig? Thanks, don't mind if I do!

is this....normal? the caps shorting out from heat part...

Yes, there is a heat rating on Caps, Look for degrees C or F (Centigrade or Farhenheit) numbers.
