2 bucks for a 1/4 pound hotdog and pop, 3 bucks for a giant poutine. I just destroyed that after my shopping and now I feel powerful.

Btw this is Canadian currency.

They should probably change that to pootine, since that's what you'll be doing a lot of soon.

Yo rly? I actually just learned last weekend what "poutine" is. Made me want to vomit.

It's good for your heart, has many vitamin. Best thing that ever came out of Quebec along with 18 drinking age, high school girls in bars FTW, awwwww RIGhhtttt, giiigiiidyyy giigiiidyyyyyyyyy

😉

Dogs are good there, lack of Chili or Cheese loses a point for them. Sam Club has equally good dogs and they have Chili to boot.

It was more like this: couple of guys hammered at the diner. One orders poutine and says to me "MAN! THIS CHICK MAKES THE BEST POUTINE EVER YOU SHOULD ORDER SOME MAN!" When it actually came.... it's a good thing I didn't order it.

The last time I went I got the 1/4 all beef hotdog and drink as well. When I went to pay, she said 1.6x (under 2 dollars for sure), and I said, with "a drink though". "It includes a drink" she says. Very good, cheap meal 🙂

Poutine is FTW. That stuff will knock years off your life, but those are the crappy (no pun intended) elderly years anyway.

Poutine with bacon, sausage and peperoni is even better. Pure heaven.

in the US our Costco dogs are more than 1/4 pound now. It's $1.50.

All of Costco's food court items are very very cheap and at a very high food quality level.

Did they change the poutine recipe recently?

The only time I had Costco fries with gravy (assume same gravy as poutine) was the day our car broke down on the way back from Costco. Those fries sucked so much our car died.

I don't know, first time eating poutine there today. She basically covered the total surface area of the fries with cheese, pure hook up. After that she poured boiling hot gravy all over it. God it was a sexy poutine, probably one of the best I've ever had.

The fries were not that high quality though, if they just had quality fries there it would pwn face.

I can't wait for summer when the chip stands start to open up.

They should just operate those all year round. True Canadians will be willing to stand in line when it's -40, to get poutine. We'll even brush off the foot of snow from the picnic table and eat it outside with a nice cold pepsi, during a blizzard.

Yea bro, I'm like that. The best thing is devouring McDonalds cheeseburgers in the cold. Get 4-5 of them into your pockets, and eat them one by one. They are so nice and small, a clean meal, and that cheese really gets your heart pumping 😀

Never tried their poutine, but I've always enjoyed their fries; they have this very satisfying crunch to them. If anything, wouldn't the gravy take away that delicious crunch? Anywho, that place was always surprisingly easy on the wallet. Every time I would go there w friends or family, we would dig in our pockets for some coins so that we could stick around to share an order or two of the fries ;D~

Remove the gravy from it and it might be tasty.

Remove the gravy from poutine?!?! That's absurd!

Fine... just melt the cheese curds and use the cheese sauce instead.

Ewwwwww, that's like pizza without the sauce, it's just not the same.....

toast + cheesewiz > pizza w.o sauce

Dude gravy on fries kicks ass. I love ketchup too, but my favorite thing with fries is mayo, that can't be beat, and the Germans know what they are doing when it comes to stuff like that 😉
