I was just browsing Office Depot tonight for some more toner for my Samsung ML1740, and found that they had they had the Samsung ML-2152W for only $112.99 on clearance.

i found the deal in Spokane, Washington. I called around this morning and only found one (from the same store) at regular price.. :/
 
Wow, reg price on this is $649.99, looks like quite a good deal. Wireless printer too (whatever that means, I guess built-in hub?).
 
Huh? You saw 1 printer for $113 and then called the same store and they had the same one for regular price? That doesn't make sense.
 
Called the Orlando store and all 12 in the area (that the CSR had access to) have been OOS for a while. Said there were like 52 in their Warehouse recently untill they had to ship them back to the vendor sometime mid December.

They had one in warehouse but I could only get it for full price 🙁 I didnt understand the concept myself..

The website has always shown the full price, this deal is in store only.
 
I called Gainesville stores this morning. The girls checked their in-store inventory but neither had one. They both told me there were 5 in the warehouse and they could order it but also I would have to pay full price. I assume that the warehouse is equivalent to ordering online for in-store pickup. I am not quite sure why if we get it in store we can't get the store price. I wonder if the online/warehouse price will drop soon or if they figure they can offload them at full price first.
 
I bought one of these a few months back from OD for $199AR. I do not recommend it mainly because of the price of toner carts - $140 a piece. They are chipped so they are difficult to refill. I did however find a refill kit on ebay (complete with replacement chip) but the toner does not bond well with the paper and just rubs off. The wifi and ethernet connections are nice, but without toner the printer is a dead duck. I ended up buying a Brother HL-1440 printer from OD for $70AR rather than spend for a new Sammy cartridge.
 
The replacement toner cartridges are good for 8000 pages and includes the drum, which makes them no more expensive to operate than any of the competition. For 112 bucks the samsung comes with a 4000 page toner. The Brother 1440 comes with only a 1000-1500 page toner and when you figure what replacement toner & drums cost the brother comes out costing more per page. You also get the networking, duplexing and faster print speed with the samsung. If you can find one of the Samsungs it is a bargain.
