Man, 6 bedrooms, 3 baths.. how big is that house? The peeps here are right about constant upgrade and repair. I've been at it nonstop since I bought mine.

Actually, there was such an immediate equity gain, I put $0 down. Nice thing too, I got approved at 6.8% as well. I guess the home sales industry is hurting pretty badly right now, approving quite a few people. I was really shocked that I was approved, mainly because I have less than perfect credit.

Where do you live? Here in California, it's a seller's market at the moment. The sellers choose who they want to sell their house to, not the other way around. So buyers end up having to bid against each other for the same house. I remember I had to go up against 3 other bidders when I got mine a couple of months ago.
