Mainly a cholesterol test but they decided to do a full workup.... Just got a letter in the mail with all the results blanked out telling me to call to scheduele an appointment to discuss the results.

I call to scheduele the appt and ask if she could tell me over the phone. She said there were some things on it they need to talk to me in person about.

Uhm, crap?

Should I tell you or do you want her to? We could probably tell based on the results that are blacked out.

They are all blacked out/blank.

good luck dude, hope it is ok

i need to get a full physical in january
i haven't had one since 1996 and have lately noticed some strange things going on

They want you to go in so they can document that...
1. They discussed the results with you
2. They discussed any necessary treatment plans

If it's true that she CAN'T tell you over the phone, then it could only be a few things, and none of them good. If it's just that you really need to cut down on the cheeseburgers then you can call back and tell them you're out of state and won't be back for a while and she better tell you now. If she still won't you better not make plans for the new year.

No idea, they just said they were doing a full workup, rather than just the cholesterol.

On the sheet i see the following: CBC, TSH, Liver Functions, PSA, Urinalysis, Lipids, Total Cholest., HDL, LDL, Trig.
