Yikes! Already had to use the air conditioner in the car

58 degree temperature swing in just 2 days. I was driving along and had to turn on the air conditioning to keep comfortable until I got to my location and could take off the vest that I was wearing. 2 days ago, I spent half an hour chipping through a foot and a half of hardened snow, so I could get to my garden hose which froze up completely for the first time all winter. (Except for 2 times when my son & wife turned it completely off.) -10 degrees F, up to 48 degrees F.

I seriously contemplated putting the top down on my car, but we had some wicked wind that was biting cold, even though it was almost 50F here.

In the upper 40's here all day yesterday, Even got warmer overnight til about 3am. Still above freezing today, making this only the second time I can recall the temperature being above freezing for more than 24 straight hours since November. As I gaze out the window, everything is still white. Snow got pretty deep this year without the usual one or two thaws.

62F in PA. Thank God for the nice, warm weather... I have to go outside and take some pictures for a photo class I'm taking.

Id rather crack open a window or open the sunroof & turn on the ventilation system only if its anywhere in the 70s. I really dont like running the AC unless I really have too. Alot of people I know however will run their AC systems at the drop of a hat (especially if they happen to be female), Im just not one of those people. But if Im carrying passengers Ill run the AC for their convenience since not everyone likes a "wind in your face" experience.

Hey, I could almost start another thread about this.

I'd have done that too, but I was simply over-dressed for the unexpectedly warm weather. (I expected 30's.) I tossed on my vest, went out to the car, and started driving. Within a few minutes, I started getting uncomfortably warm - the vest with a sweatshirt on was simply too much.

Was 70f here! Was great I rolled down the windows, got the music cranking, and enjoyed my drive back! Now all the windows are open in the apartment and it feels great!

It's been heating up here too. In fact it's only -8 right now. zomg global warming! Actually we still need to get an ice storm, we did not get one yet this year, and it has to be rather hot for one, so think it's on it's way...

In the dead of winter I usually drive with the drivers window half way down. I have to keep the defroster on high to keep the windshield clear, and the wiipers from icing up. so to keep from being toasty I lower the window.
