It's in the interest of ICANN and the U.S. to see that China and every other country get all the internet addys they need. I don't see this as much of a political football and my fear would be that the U.N. would fumble the ball if given it. This is not a task for the U.N. I am a strong supporter of the U.N. though. I hope this isn't yet another one of the issues the right wing wackos are going to use to justify America giving the U.N. the finger.
