Yet ANOTHER traffic ticket thread.

Argh! Does anyone have the link for that website that has methods for fighting traffic tickets? I have seen it linked on here several times but I can?t seem to find it.

So I am driving to the airport with my girlfriend on Thursday and we take my car, which needs the safety check renewed. I need a strut replaced and haven?t gotten around to it yet. I figured that I would use this car just because I don?t have to worry about parking it as the airport as it is 15 years old and her car was stolen (then found) last winter.

Along comes a state trooper (driving above the speed limit might I add) as he pulls along side me on the parkway and looks over at my window sticker (now if you want to talk about unsafe driving, how about keeping your eyes on the road officer?) to see that it is expired and proceeds to pull me over. When he approached my car I could see him pushing on one of the rear tail-lights (hoping it would fall off?) just for the heck of it. My light panels are secure and look normal so I don?t know what the heck he was doing.

Anyway, I get a $100+ ticket, so does anyone have that website link?

[Insert comment below by someone with a police officer icon telling me to get the car fixed. Ha Ha. I know it?s coming.]

Blame it on the officer because you're too lazy to get a strut replaced.

Also, if you saw the officer taking awhile to look at your sticker, obviously you weren't paying attention to the road either, right?

That said, I think if you bring the bill indicating the strut was replaced and you're all checked out to court, they may drop the ticket.

And get thrown in jail for being a dork.

Sorry didnt read the OP.But for a speeding offense this could work.I had been used in DUI cases.

I don't know about where you live, but here you can bring in proof that you had the inspection done when you go to court and they'll automatically drop the ticket.

That's what I plan to do Big J. And I was paying attention to the road as I always am. I noticed him coming from behind while I was driving the speed limit and I thought he was going about his business or trying to clock someone from behind. When he slowed down once beside me I knew what he was doing.
