Yet another TIVO question... Can I take my TIVO with me?

If I subscribe to TIVO service, can I use my TIVO unit at a friend's place or at my parent's place when I visit them for say the holidays? Is the subscription locked to the unit, not to a phone line, etc. right?

Its locked to the unit, so it will work fine, but you will have to re-run the setup again to get the right zip code/channels (unless they are close enough to share the channels) and it will have to do that annoying 8-hour processing crap again...
