Yet Another Tipping Thread

Are the restaurants identical? Are they located in the same type of neighborhood? Lots of questions to go through before you can say tips are the difference.
 
If I had a choice I'd honestly choose the non tipping one also. I doubt I'm the only one.
 
I'm not sure why he would add a service charge rather than just increase the prices on his menu the same %, and pay his staff accordingly?

They would actually have to be in the same location, serving the same food, for the same price (before tip or fees), to draw any sort of conclusion.

Only the first couple pages, and it was already getting extremely boring. But on the first page it states they were two different restaurants.

He does not put forth that tipping caused the failure of one business and non-tipping saved the other. He talks about what he did see as far as service between the two.

You should read at least through the 5th page.
