What's with them posting articles that seem like they are going to be interesting for the first paragraph, and then go absolutely nowhere?

I will admit, CNN articles are awful. They should eiither stick to broadcast journalism or hire an editor.

CNN sucks at almost everything they... they are loosing credibility everyday, I am just keeping it honest. In fact, all media now is junk. I stick to my npr daily dose.

I agree, CNN has been going downhill for me. I dislike that some articles are links to video only with no accompanying text and dislike that you can't tell ahead of time which links are for "iReports" or whatever.

I'm willing to bet its becuase there are 3 people there that can actually write. All the others are there for putting up videos. Hell - half the time CNN doesn't even use their own videos! Have a video that may or may not be news? May or may not be accurate? May just include your own personal take on events but no acutal hard facts? Just send it to CNN and it will end up on their web page

I can't even describe how much I hate 'iReports'. TBO I still watch CNN but it's not for their 'Hard hitting journalism' (They lost me when they brought in iReports into their TV broadcasting) but for the news ticker at the bottom. I give them 5 minutes while I eat my breakfast and thats it
