not again!

I can't see how anyone can defend actions like this. This is just pure and unaldultrated censorship of views that are not the same as your own. I guess, standard review process will be the new catch phrase of the bush admin as a defense to chopping out sections of reports that will not be beneficial to their own special interests

I think they do us a favor by editing out views that are wrong. They just confuse people and get in the way of progress.

The culture of an organization flows from the top. Bush is an amoral, pathological liar, and will say or do anything if it furthers his agenda. It should be no surprise that his minions are equally repugnant. It was funny watching Meet the Press this morning. Even John McCain revealed his disgust for BushCo's behavior, albeit in an understated, PC way.

I'm sure Hitler thought he was just trying to do the right thing, too.

I'm NOT! I'm convinced the Bushwhackos don't know the difference between truth and lies or right and wrong. I'm convinced they'll say or do anything to further their own agenda to line their pockets and continue their grab for total power, regardless of who it hurts, other than their wealthy backers. :|

The evidence continues to mount, and it's just so blatantly obvious. My only question is, why the fsck are real "conservatives," those who believe in the Constitution, our history of equal justice under the laws of the land, and any sense of right and wrong or fair play, sitting on their hands and letting these criminal jackoffs get away with it? :(

Only when the last tree has died and the last river been poisoned and the last fish been caught will we realize that we cannot eat money. Cree Indian, 1909

But most people don't care because they are sure it won't happen in their lifetime.

"This is a whitewash. They took all of our science and reversed it 180 degrees," said Erick Campbell, a former BLM state biologist in Nevada and a 30-year bureau employee who retired this year. He was the author of sections of the report pertaining to the effect on wildlife and threatened and endangered species.

"They rewrote everything," Campbell said in an interview this week. "It's a crime."
This is classic Bush Administration's M.O. Frankly, I don't know why they bother having scientific analysis done of any given topic when they're just going to re-write it to pander to some special-interest group anyway.
