Yet Another School Shooting, Right Next Door to Santana High School

It would be interesting to do something other than the standard school shooting thread. Perhaps a comparative analysis of why each of the various school shootings happened? Instead of using these tragedies as leverage for our fave social dogmas,lets think a bit. What do they have in common?

Hm well we should create well armed militia's comprised of highschool kids.. that way everyone has a gun.. mwahahaha!

I won't even touch the gun issue with a 10 foot pole. I learned the anti-gun people in the world are immune to reason, and I've inadvertantly started many-a-screaming match with the fiancee over this. 🙂 Let's just say I believe access to firearms to be a right, so of course any are ignored by the antmodifiers I put on that i-gun nuts and I get flamed/screamed at for being a gun-totin` redneck who likes to shoot deer with my fully automatic assault rifle. gah!

Anyways, tobeme, no problem. It's an argument, and I never hold hard feelings towards anyone on a simple disagreement of opinions as long as it doesn't get personal. 🙂 I hope everyone here feels the same as well.
